Jack's ideal home

8-year-old Jack has been returned to us through no fault of his own he is looking for a quiet adult only home with a secure outdoor space to have a sniff about and explore. Jack can have calm walking buddies but must be the only dog in the home he is more than happy being the only dog and getting all the attention. Jack is fully housetrained (odd accident to be expected to begin with) and he can be left up to 4 hours once he is settled in his new home. He travels well in a car; he just needs help getting in and is not a fan of stairs.

Jack is very independent and takes his time to build a bond, initially he is a little worried by strangers and can bark at people when first meeting. Jack would benefit from a home with not many visitors and a family that can give him his space when he feels overwhelmed. He loves short fun walks where he can sniff about then back home for a well earned snooze. Jack is an all-round happy little chap who is a great companion to have around.

Corgi Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Corgi.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
