About This Dog for Adoption

Banjo's ideal home

Banjo is looking for a calm, understanding home, with patient adopters who can allow him the time he needs to settle. He would thrive in a peaceful residential area in a quiet household, where life moves at a gentle pace. Banjo could live with older teens but needs to be the only pet in the home, as he enjoys a calm environment without the hustle and bustle of other animals. Whether you’re a single person or a family who’s around most of the time, Banjo will appreciate having his people close by as he much prefers having the company, especially in the initial stages as he settles. A secure, quiet garden would be a dream spot for him to relax and enjoy the fresh air without too much outside noise. Banjo is currently on a weight-loss plan and needs support from his adopters to continue this once he goes home.

Could you be Banjo's perfect match?

Once Banjo feels settled, you’ll begin to see the gentle, affectionate soul behind his initially shy exterior. He likes tactile interaction to be on his own terms, but when he trusts you, he’ll gently place a paw on you or nuzzle into you to ask for more fuss. A playful chap, Banjo loves nothing more than a calm game of roll-the-ball, which is just adorable to witness. Even more adorable is the extra-special bond that he has with his favourite toy, ‘Red Dog,’ which he likes to have nearby for comfort. If you’re looking for a sensitive soul with a heart full of love, Banjo might just be your perfect match.

Corgi Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Corgi.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Corgi Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
