About This Dog for Adoption

Goblin's ideal home

Meet our worried boy, Goblin. He is a 1.5-year old Crossbreed looking for his forever home with a calm, kind, understanding family. Goblin is a really sweet boy who is considerably more worried than his siblings, so is looking for a home with all children 16yrs+. Goblin will need to go home with another dog - ideally one from the same litter. He shuts down without his siblings, finds a place to sit in his kennel and does not move. He is starting to build confidence with some of his main handlers, approaching and taking treats.
He has never left his home before, so would need an understanding family that are able to take everything slowly and at his pace, in order for him to progress most effectively. He will need a quieter home, where there isn't so much hustle and bustle while he finds his paws. Goblin will need a lot of confidence building and support with his basic skills, but he does enjoy schmackos so we think this will be a great aid in any training he needs.
Goblin hasn't walked on a lead before, so this will be a slow process while he gets more confident, and he will also need work on his house-training. Goblin would enjoy a home with a garden so there isn't so much pressure for him to go out for walks on the lead, and he can just potter around the garden at his own time, taking in all the sights and sniffs.
Goblin will be looking for someone with experience of taking care of nervous dogs, as he will need a lot of time to come out of his shell. When indoors with his siblings, he doesn't take long to warm up to you. However, without his brothers and sisters, he shuts down and will be very avoidant. Any potential adopters will need to be aware that it is unlikely you will get a lot of out him on the first meet.

Could you be Goblin's perfect match?

Goblin is a sweet, beautiful boy who is looking for an understanding, quiet home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. He would benefit from going home with a confident sibling from the same litter as he gets a lot of confidence from them.
Goblin is still a young lad and really does have the potential to be a really lovely, affectionate boy in the right home - but any potential adopters will need to be happy to take their time with him and build the bond slowly.
He will need to learn his basic skills such as lead walking and house-training, but this will come with time and as will his confidence.
We can't wait to see this lovely angel curled up in his forever home, basking in all the love he deserves!
